The Horton Grand provides spacious accommodations with a charming historic atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and helpful, efficiently assisting with my business needs. The hotel's location in the Gaslamp Quarter allowed easy access to local dining and entertainment, which was ideal for after-work relaxation. The on-site dining options were reasonably priced and enjoyable.
Housekeeping was inconsistent, and cleaning during my stay didn't occur despite requests.

Perfect Location with Historic Charm
I truly enjoyed my stay in this elegant hotel, which features a unique historic charm and a lovely courtyard bar. The spacious room had a cozy balcony that was ideal for my morning coffee and enjoying the Gaslamp district's vibrant atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with any inquiries. I did find the street noise a bit disruptive at night.

Couple’s perfect getaway
Had a great experience overall. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even bringing a replacement fridge up to our room in less than 15 minutes after we called about it. Plus we loved the complimentary drinks at the bar downstairs, very nice selections.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but for what we got, it was acceptable.

easy stroll to parks and charming gaslamp district
I loved that I could easily walk to the vibrant Gaslamp District and take a leisurely stroll to the beautiful Embarcadero Marina Park South during my stay, making it perfect for exploring the city's landmarks. As a solo traveler, I found the hotel's character and charm to be a delightful change from the typical cookie-cutter spots, although the rooms could use some upgrades.

Charming location with modern amenities
I recently enjoyed a delightful stay in a cozy room with a beautiful balcony that made mornings special. The location was ideal for exploring, with easy access to the Gaslamp Quarter and local attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly, adding to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. However, the noise from the surrounding area could be bothersome at times, so I'd recommend asking for a quieter room.

The hotel has a certain vintage charm with its antique décor, creating a cozy atmosphere. Its location makes it easy to explore local restaurants and attractions within walking distance.
Booked a "premier suite with balcony" but found the balcony smaller than expected—barely enough room for one person. The room could use a deep clean; I encountered carpet stains, dusty drapes, and a used coffee pod in the machine. The bar's limited hours and lack of breakfast options felt lacking, especially since there were no alternatives on-site. Noise from adjacent rooms and the street made it hard to get a good night's sleep, and the pressure of the shower left much to be desired.

charming, charming, charming
I was absolutely smitten by the quaint décor that whispered stories of the past. My room had a cozy balcony perfect for sipping coffee and soaking in the historic vibe. The bar area was a delight, with a mixologist crafting the most delicious drinks while we enjoyed live piano music.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. My room was spacious and comfortable, with charming antique decorations. I did experience some noise from street activity at night, and there were a few maintenance issues that needed attention. Great location near everything! Our room over the courtyard was quiet and cozy—perfect for a couple's escape. Enjoyed the clean facilities and lovely ambiance.
The parking fees were so high it felt like I was paying for a small luxury yacht. Plus, I could've used a bit more space—my suitcase nearly started charging rent!

The Horton Grand offered a charming, historic atmosphere that drew me in immediately. I loved the vintage decor and the cozy fireplace in my room, creating a warm vibe. The courtyard was beautiful, providing a nice spot to relax. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help with a smile. I appreciated how close the hotel was to restaurants and attractions—all within walking distance. However, the parking fees were steep at $50, which felt excessive. I also noticed some noise from the street, especially at night, affecting my sleep. Breakfast service was slow, with limited options, which could definitely be improved. Still, the location and unique ambiance made my stay enjoyable overall.
